Next Saturday, January 5th, Father Fábio de Melo and Elba Ramalho will come together to present the show “An Unforgettable Night”, at the Goiânia Arena gym, starting at 8pm. The artists' meeting is not only due to friendship, but also due to the great influence of both in faith and in music. For those who still don't know, Elba Ramalho's father was a popular orchestra musician, while Fábio de Melo's father played by intuition. Together, the singer and the priest have already recorded the songs “Oculto e Revelado” and “Maria e o Anjo”.
Goiânia will be the first capital to receive the project “An Unforgettable Night”, which in its repertoire will also include great hits from MPB. Tickets are already on sale through the Balada App platform, with prices starting at R$30 (Thirty reais). The half-price tickets are solidarity and can be purchased with the donation of a kilo of non-perishable food. In addition to individual tickets, there is also the option of tables for four people.
ELBA CELEBRATES 70 YEARS
In August 2021, Elba Ramalho turned 70 years old. The singer celebrated the date with her family at Restaurante Mandarim, a new restaurant at the Jockey Club, in Rio de Janeiro. The dinner was organized by businessmen and promoters, Liège Monteiro and Luiz Fernando Coutinho.
Elba was accompanied by her children Maria Clara, Maria Paula, and Luã Yvys, in addition to her one-year-old granddaughter Esmeralda. The singer also had the presence of her friend Toni Garrido.
“Seventy years is not seventy days. Being with my granddaughter, Esmeralda, is a strong reason for me to be alive. Being a grandmother is being a mother twice, we renew ourselves. In my life, at this moment she is everything! Life is beautiful, living is wonderful,” she said.
