The widower of author Gilberto Braga, with whom he was married for almost 50 years, Edgard Moura Brasil caused an uproar on social media by detonating Walcyr Carrasco. In the post that the author lamented the death of Gilberto, the decorator responded by needling the writer of 'Verdades Secretas'.

On the night of Tuesday, October 26, the writer Gilberto Braga died, victim of a systemic infection. The news was given by the column of Ancelmo Góes, journalist for the newspaper O Globo, in Rio de Janeiro. The note published on the website states that he was at the Copa Star hospital in Rio de Janeiro.
One of the most famous authors on television, Braga would have turned 76 on Monday, November 1st. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's for two years. There is still no information about the writer's funeral.
